I was recently up wayyy late doing research online. So to take a break I stopped in at Quizilla.

After a half hour of looking over their latest quizzes and being dissapointed by all but the above one, I decided to search for something else. Now I am a fan of Serenity, but I am relitively new to it. I didn't see any Firefly until they started showing them on Sci-Fi channel in preperation of the movie coming out. I still haven't seen all of them. I can hardly call myself a browncoat. So I've not taken any Firefly/Serenity quizzes before. But having just watched the DVD again it was on my mind. So...

Captain Malcolm "Mal" Reynolds: He owns the starship Serenity. Like Star Trek's Captain Kirk, he is attractive, likable, witty, and eccentric. He thinks that danger is fun. He has no home base, nor any authority that he answers to - not even God. His mother owned a cattle ranch. He was a sergeant in the war against the Alliance, and at one point he commanded over 2000 troops. He still distrusts and avoids the Alliance. Brave, resourceful, tough, adventurous, sometimes quixotic, he's driven by both high ideals, and base motives. He resorts to criminal deeds, but there's a limit to how low he will go.
