Character 'Sketch'

I am currently playing a D&D campaign. I play a elven druid, but not your typical druid. She's from a large, urban, cosmopolitan, and decadent city called Shelzar. She doesn't have the standard aversion to cities that the stereotypical druid has. She's quite at home there. I've been looking foe an image that would help define her. I've tried doing sketches of my own, looking online for others' work, even looking for minis that were close, all without success. While browsing fashion websites looking for Mila Jovavich picks (the most elf-like person I could think of) I cam e across this pick of Kate Moss.

The pose and clothing (or lack thereof reminded my of my character so I decided to see what i could do in photo shop with it. It took a long time. I would not work on it for a bit and then realise something that was missing and go back to tweak it some more. Eventually it started to look right but it always seem to be missing something. I kept adding stuff to the background to try to fill it in. Shelzar is supposed to have spires of green and gold. Well I spent a lot of time trying to get the spires to look right, and then put them behind a curtain. I also had to make my own symbol of Enkili for the tattoo on her shoulder, there not being any online anywhere. (one of the few times the Internet has failed me.) I grabbed the symbol of Mask (which was much easier to find) an added lightning taken from actual storm pictures. I like how it turned out. I wanted to add a plant to show a little of her love of nature. It's actually a fake plant that i had to pixel edit a lot of the background out from it. I think all the effort was worth it. It might not be as I first envisioned my character but it is close enough.
